Refund & cancellation policy
This policy applies to professional engagements with Cloud InfrastructureX for audit sampling program design, evidence review sessions, population stratification studies, and working paper gap assessments.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to fees paid for work not yet started, or to unused prepaid session time, subject to the conditions below. Informational website content is free and not refundable.
Timeframe to request
Send refund requests in writing to hello@cloudinfrastructurex.digital within 14 days of the charge you dispute, or before the scheduled session if cancelling prepaid evidence review time.
Full refund
A full refund of the deposit or prepaid fee is available if we cancel the engagement for our own capacity reasons, or if you cancel in writing before we have begun substantive work on your population or files and before any reserved session date.
Partial refund
If work has started — for example, population cleansing or a draft memorandum has begun — we may retain a portion of fees reflecting hours already spent and refund the remainder. Evidence review half-days already delivered are not refunded.
Non-refundable items
- Completed sampling memoranda, worksheets, and gap assessment reports delivered to you
- Evidence review sessions that occurred as booked
- Third-party courier or secure-transfer fees already incurred at your request
Deposits
Fixed-fee engagements usually require a 40% deposit. The deposit is applied to the final invoice. It is refundable under the full-refund rules above; otherwise it is credited against work performed.
Cancellation & rescheduling
Cancel or reschedule evidence review sessions at least 3 business days before the booked slot for no fee. Later cancellations may forfeit the session fee. Sampling program timelines may be paused by mutual written agreement if your population export is delayed.
No-shows
If your team misses a confirmed evidence review session without notice, the session fee is due in full. We will offer one courtesy reschedule when notice is given at least 24 hours ahead.
Work already started
Once we have received population data and begun analysis, cancellation triggers a partial refund calculation based on progress documented in our time records.
Process & timing
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10–15 business days after written approval. We confirm the amount by email before initiating the transfer.
